New Demand LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Architect in the Eastern US.
Job Description:
The Senior Technical Architect's primary focus will be providing technical leadership during the design and delivery phases of cloud computing solutions, currently based on Salesforce.com and Amazon Web Services platforms. The successful candidate will be an expert in architecting, and developing solutions that leverage cloud computing platforms and JAVA-based commercial software development tools. Responsibilities include defining technical architectures, user interfaces, object data models and component systems. Ensuring technical solutions are aligned with business requirements, and follow industry best practices for scalability, security and maintainability. In addition, the individual will be responsible for designing and documenting technical solutions, maintaining source control and project management environments, and developing and testing applications. Experience in estimating project scope, managing software delivery schedules, and software quality assurance are also critical skills.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10 + Years of experience developing and supporting commercial software systems, in positions of increasing responsibility
- Experience gained with top-tier commercial computer companies
- A proven track record of delivering high quality enterprise solutions, aligning business and technology needs
- Experience with On Demand software and platform architectures
- Integration experience with XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Java, CSS, on server and mobile platforms, and a thorough understanding of XML, SQL, and enterprise application integration
- Knowledge of open source software including RDBMS, application servers and distributed messaging systems
- Excellent analysis skills, and the ability to develop systems architectures suited to internet scale and security requirements
- Excellent software development skills and experience with agile team development
- B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills/Experience:
Experience developing solutions with one or more of the following platforms: Google Enterprise Apps, Amazon Web Services, Saleforce.com.
Experience implementing mobile data interfaces. Salesforce.com Developer and Advanced Developer Certification
